The Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum is pleased to offer a special guided tour as part of the European Football Championship, which examines the topic of football in the former Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp through biographies and images. The aim is to explore the role of football amidst the terrible reality of this camp.

Details of the tour:

During the tour of the memorial site, participants will gain insight into the history of the location, with a particular focus on football during the time of National Socialism. The tour lasts approximately two hours and provides an introduction to the history of the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp as well as an overview of the establishment and development of the memorial site.

We recommend participation from the age of 14 onwards.

Participation information:

Participation is through registration on-site at the Visitor Information Center of the Sachsenhausen Memorial. Telephone or written pre-registration is not required.

The meeting point is the Visitor Information Center of the Sachsenhausen Memorial.

Cost:

The participation fee is 3 euros (reduced fee 2 euros).
