Dedication of a memorial stone for Francisco Largo Caballero

On the initiative of the Francisco Largo Caballero Foundation and the General Spanish Workers' Union (UGT), a memorial stone in honour of Francisco Largo Caballero will be unveiled at the Sachsenhausen Memorial on 14 October.
The former Prime Minister and Labour Minister of the Second Republic, Francisco Largo Caballero, was arrested during the German occupation in France and was imprisoned in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp from 1943 until his liberation in 1945.
To mark the inauguration of the memorial stone, a discussion event on the politics of remembrance in Germany and Spain will also be held in the auditorium of the Spanish Embassy in Berlin at 6 pm.
Simultaneous Spanish/German translation will be provided
