From September 22, 2026, tour buses will no longer be able to park in the lot on Schäferweg. From that date, two designated drop-off bays will be available there; these are intended solely for visitors to disembark.

Afterward, tour buses must proceed to the new tour bus parking area on Carl-Gustav-Hempel-Straße.

Visitors will re-board the buses at the new parking area after visiting the memorial. Consequently, the departure point for the buses will differ from the arrival point.

For visitor flow management reasons, passengers must disembark at the bays on Schäferweg, as the memorial entrance is located there. Visitors are not permitted to disembark at the new tour bus parking area.

Public transport buses and private cars are not affected by this change.
